Residential Students - RBTC Mumbai
RBTC Mumbai presently does not have hostel facilities. However, due to many queries from prospective students living outside Mumbai, the ministry has taken rented facilities not far from the campus on a very limited basis: six vacancies for men and six for women. Although the cost of living in Mumbai is high, we have done our best to negotiate reasonable rent amounts.
If you require accommodation at RBTC Mumbai, what can you expect? Kindly note: the accommodation available is not a hostel, but rather a rented flat. Students are expected to keep the premises neat and clean. Cooking and cleaning responsibilities are equally shared among the residents of the flat.
The following are the things that will be provided without cost to you: Staple food will be provided by the ministry. Gas and cooking utensils will be provided for students to cook their own food from the ration provided by the ministry.
The following are the things residential students will be required to provide: Rs. 3,500/- is payable for food and rental per month. Please note that the accommodations arranged are not those of a hostel. Rather, the fees charged are as per rental rates of conveniently located flats in Mumbai, which are higher than those of hostel fees.
Electricity bills will be borne equally by resident students as per monthly usage. A security deposit of 5,000/- which will be refunded upon leaving with no dues pending.
Kindly bring bed sheets, pillowcases, towels, toiletry items and stationery.
Before coming, bring a Doctor’s certificate of good health. Kindly find the form below. Please plan your arrival in Mumbai no later than 2nd February 2023. Student orientation will be on 4th February. Classes begin 6th February 2023 with graduation on the 1 st week of December 2023. We believe you will have a blessed stay during your time of study in Mumbai!
